Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 3/23/2009(UTC) Posts: 2		I have a KA dishwasher and the door will not open. It has been acting up for a few months. I had to wiggle it, then it would open. I have well water so I thought maybe there was some build up blocking it. But, now it will not open at all. I tried the child lock, the problem is not that. I tried the shutting the dishwasher down it is not that. The problem is with the latch. Do you know how to get the dishwasher door open?

Next i would try pushing a butter knife between the plastic latch and the metal striker plate attached to the unit's frame.
