My GE dishwasher recently would shut off randomly after about 2 minutes. I held the cycle and start button and a 371 and a 56 code displayed. I cleaned out discharge valve as that was clogged, replaced the whole UI panel and the latch as well.

It still doesn't work. The pump will pump water out just fine, but no water ever comes into the tub. It does not have a flood float inside the filter liker other GE dishwashers have.

The other issue is that I open the door, the door beeps at me like the door is open, but the draining pump is still running while the door is open. I don't want to throw any more money at it unless I know for sure what's going to fix it. Before I go buy a new dishwasher, I wanted to see if anyone here had any ideas.
