This LG front loader, although old, has been outstanding. Only replaced the water inlet solenoids and a few minor related hoses. New issue.

I do a lot of laundry that has pet hair on bedspreads and pet covers. I do try to clean as much off as possible including vacuuming. This weekend with heavy water load in bedspread and other items that hold a lot of water, I get OE error and cycle stops (Permanent Press) after soap and before softener or after both soap/softener have been applied. I use Heavy load, Turbowash, and 3 rinse. I pulled out the filter and cleaned it off including up in the casing body. I was surprised by how little there was on the filter or inside the casing.

Sometimes it goes all the way through cycle until last spins. Sometimes does whole cycle. If I leave the items in the washer that are heavy and water logged and change to Drain and Spin, it goes through that completely every time.

I watched a few minutes ago as it was going though one of the rinse/spins. The water jets look like they are performing correctly and shutting off when they should. Spin-up/down looks normal. It senses the off balance load and adjust spin until it gets enough water out. I had been using high spin for the heavy items like bedspreads. But like I said, drains and spins the water out on Drain/Spin cycle with no problem. Washer sounds normal. Very quiet. No abnormal noise like failing pump.

So I am confused. Appreciate all ideas.
