I have a Maytag Refrigerator MFI2569YEM0 that makes ice as usual, but does not dispense it.

I can hear the motor working, the spiral on the tray is not frozen and can be spun around by hand.

I believe the problem is the U-shaped head (not sure what it is called) where the ice tray would connect and is located all the way to the back of the ice maker. The head is loose. I can spin it with my hand and you can tell it is not tightly connected to the axle. If I leave 2-3 ice cubes in the tray, it can dispense them. Once more cubes are added, I guess they are too heavy and the head cannot move the spiral.

Is this something that can be fixed?

Thank you so much in advance!
