My motor had definitely gone out. So I decided to buy a maintenance kit and replace the motor, idler pulley, belt, drum rollers, blower wheel, and i also replaced the rear drum seal. With everything installed it came on and worked perfectly for about 15 min. then stopped. If i leave everything on and closed it will restart on its own after about 3 min., and continue the on-off process. Did i get a faulty motor that will continue to overheat, or is there somewhere else i need to look? Thanks for any help you can give.

Hi Fred

Boy this is a mystery, your machine is not acting like anything I have ever encountered.

I am going to suggest you replace the push to start switch, because it is inexpensive and I cannot think of anything else try.

Here is the part, and say hello to Arnold for us.
