My GE dishwasher quit working when I tried to run it. It seemed to flicker off and on -- at least that's what it sounded like from hearing the water coming in. Now it's completely dead. The power is on the same circuit as the over-the-sink light and the garbage disposal, so I know that the power is good at least that far.

What should I look for with this? I have a volt-ohm meter, but I don't have anything that can measure 120 volts.
