Hi folks!

I am trying to diagnose which part is faulty for our KitchenAid fridge KSCS25FTMS02 ice maker.

The ice maker works for a few hours and then stops rotating (I can see there are some ice cubes ready to be dumped in the container).

If I disassemble it and jump start it by putting a wire in the T and H hole, the rotating arm starts again.

Seems like some part is defective but what would be the culprit in your opinion?

By jumping the T and H holes, you are bypassing the ice mold thermostat. Either its bad or its just not quite cold enough in your freezer. It should be around zero degrees Fahrenheit in the freezer. Plus or minus 5 degrees.
