Hello,

I have a Samsung French door fridge thats about 10 years old. I recently changed the filter and after flushing, noticed floating things in the water. I thought it was the filter so changed it again and same thing. I took the filter out, same thing. Some of the floaters are a couple of millimeters long, and some are almost an inch long. They look like clear plastic but if I get them on my finger, they are slimy and turn black when i rub it.

I ran vinegar through the whole fridge and let it sit for 5 hours. Flushed again with about 5 gallons with no filter and keep getting new floaters.

What could this be? I need my fridge water and ice back.

Thanks!
