I thought it was the remote so bought a Frigidaire replacement but still nothing couldn't be the sensor inside the unit is bad and if so is there a part number I can get to find a replacement?

There are two parts to the remote control system. The remote and the control board, which doesn't seem to be available anymore. Sorry it's not better news.
