Standard oven light bulb problem. Light bulbs burn out and are difficult to remove. Screw in light cover/dome cracks. Also difficult to unscrew.
Failure mode may not be related, but, removal problem is.
Looking for a high temp, non toxic lubricant to lube the base of the bulb and the screw in part of the cover/dome. Something along the lines of "di-electric" lube or even petroleum jelly.
Surely someone has come up with something?

It would need to withstand temps of 900 to 1000 degrees Fahrenheit. I checked Amazon and came up with Permatex 24125 Ceramic Extreme Brake Parts Lubricant, 8 oz. Supposedly good to 3000 F. I used to clean the light bulb threads with a scotchbrite pad and sometimes use just a little bit of WD 40 or graphite. Just don't over tighten them.
