The bake and broil elements test correctly for resistance. The only thing I can see that happened is that one of the connectors burned on the broil element. It was charred and loose. I cut it off and replaced it. The wire I used when re connecting appears to be ok, not brittle/discolored I hate to get into the control panel replacement but it seems like that is the last thing I could try.
