Hello All,

When I turn on my cooktop, it lights up, shows 143 on the display, and then turn off. I read on this forum (for another cooktop) that it is “open temp sensor” or control board.

I have changed out the boards (filter and generator) and still no luck. Called GE tech to come and they were no help. He was trying to throw parts at it too. Wasted $120.

I tried searching for the temp sensor and this unit doesn’t have one?

I don’t want to keep banging my head and throwing parts at this. Any help would be much appreciated.
