Hi, I’m having trouble fixing my dryer. I’m determined to do it myself as quotes I’ve received are near the price of a new dryer.

LG Electric Dryer Model: DLEC855W

I received a tE3 error after some clothes got very hot, and it hasn’t worked since. I’ve tried googling, unplugging and some other suggestions. Ordered a thermistor from AppliancePartsPros: 6323EL2001C

I tore down the unit following videos from YouTube. Only to discover my model is completely different. I found the wire that looked the same as my new thermistor and changed it. I put it all back together only to still get the tE3 error.

I found a service manual online to see there is a low temp and a high temp thermistor. I supposed I replaced the low temp thermistor? But I don’t know where the high temp thermistor is. There are two more new thermistors in the package. Can anyone help point me in the right direction?
