Hi Folks,

I have a Kitchen Aid Stylemaster (whirlpool) direct drive washer. [Model KAWS700GQ0].

I just replaced the clutch, basket drive and spin tube, and gearbox/transmission.

The issue I have is that the clutch seems to slip when going into the spin cycle.

Wash works fine. Neutral drain works fine. Timer works fine. After neutral drain, the transmission motor tries to make things spin, but the clutch seems to just slip and the basket does not turn. If I give the basket a small push with my hand to get it started, then things engage and the spin cycle proceeds as normal.

Any idea what would cause this?

Thanks much! K
