Dryer in Laundry center cuts off after a few minutes. I replaced the thermocouple as it was the easiest part to reach.

The dryer does not heat with the new thermomcouple? Verified the part is correct and has correct resistance. Tried with a second replacement thermocouple.

When I replaced the old thermocouple it functions the same. Where it cuts off after a few minutes.

Is this an indication that the high limit thermostat or thermal limit needs to be addressed? I’m just not why replacing a thermocouple would result in no heat.
