It is a Frigidaire FFHS2322MS9

My freezer is working fine but the fridge part is too warm. It alarms H1 with 5 beeps on the fridge side.

Things I have tried:
  • Unplug refrigerator for 5 minutes to reset it.
  • Check condenser coils at bottom back of unit for frost (no frost found).
  • Replaced damper control assembly
    • Fridge is staying at around 15 C, I do feel some air blowing in though, but I do not know how much wind I'm supposed to feel.
  • I tested continuity with every wire going into the control board, dampener and motor, all were good.


I tried the following tests in Service Mode
  • Test 3 & 4, FZ Thermistor & FF Thermistor tests, both flashing 1, not shorted or open
    • Also tested thermistor in some cold water with a multimeter, confirmed resistance values correlated with temperature with a multimeter and temperature probe
  • Test 5, Damper motor test passes, opens and closes
  • Test 6, Defrost test shows "d" for closed (the freezer was cold)



Are there any suggestions on what I should try?
Reading online, there are so many suggestions to what it should be, defrost heater, defrost thermostat, defrost fan motor, evaporator fan motor?

Are there any tests I can do to these parts before trying to replace them?

You have a defrost problem. It very well may be the radiator the indoor regulator or the control as you say. You can actually take a look at the radiator and the indoor regulator simple enough with an ohmeter. The indoor regulator ought to be 0 ohms assuming that it is cold. The warmer ought to be something like 20-40 ohms. I wouldn't stress over the temperature readout at the present time. You are lucky if your fridge has a No-Frost system. In this case, you need to defrost it only one to two times a year. But if your mini fridge is quite old, then the defrosting process has to be carried out at least one to two times a month.
