We have an older Maytag washer Model LAT3600AAE. Let's see if I can explain this. So the main timer switch or knob to select what kind of wash you want has 3 different setting cycles (Regular, Permanent Press, and Gentle). When it is on the regular cycle or permanent press the washer works fine until the end when it has to spin the water out (after the final rinse), it does not spin. Now if it is on the gentle cycle the washer will spin. Also the main knob has 3 different places you can turn it if you want to jump straight to spin. Only one of the spin setting works and that is under Gentle cycle. Also I don't hear any noise coming from it. Looked for this on this form and google but no luck. I did test the main timer with my multimeter by testing the LS terminal and L1 terminal and they have current going through it. Any help or just a shot in the dark of what can be the problem will be appreciated. Let me know if you need more info. Edited by user Friday, July 22, 2022 2:19:23 PM(UTC)
