Over the years I have repaired my Whirlpool LAE5500W1 electric dryer many times. I'm aware this is an old machine and perhaps I should consider a new Dryer. However since this machine doesn't have any electronic parts, it can be repaired.

The issue is that the heating element is wired through all the controls such that each control is carrying the same voltage and amp draw as the heating element. This leads to overheating and failures in the controls or at the spade connectors.

I'm rewiring the machine and want a wiring diagram to check my work.
