The trouble with these $600 motors is nearly always the brushes which are not available as a separate part from the motor.
Go to your local automotive starter/alternator rebuilder and buy 2 brushes made for 12 volts of adequate size. The automotive ones will be much too big but are easily sanded down to size so they fit in the brush holders with 220 grit sandpaper, much easier than it looks like it will be.The carbon brushes are very soft, you will spend perhaps 10 minutes on each one. The original pigtail is spot welded to the brush holder. Just snip them loose to disassemble and solder the new brush pigtails to the same spot instead(very easy). The final step is to recreate the 45 degree bevel on the brush ends just like the originals, once again with 220 grit sandpaper.
Re-assemble the brushes into their holders and mount them, plug the wiring back in, re-install the belt (just roll it onto the big pulley by rotating the pulley).
Plug the machine, load with laundry and enjoy! You just saved yourself from buying a new washer!! Total time for the repair, under an hour.
