Noticed the dishes werenit getting clean. I am hard of hearing and don’t hear the beeping but my wife does. One beep every 2 seconds

My wife says it buzzes also. Sometimes the panel flashes.

As a retired auto mechanic, my job involved a lot of diagnosis with the mantra ‘test then replace’ but I have no equipment to test the dishwasher.

When I open the door duting a wash cycle I get wet. I repositioned the spray arms and restart the cycle, the spray arms had moved.

I removed power from the dishwasher for a few minutes with no difference.

My research points to a bad control board.

Before I shoot the parts camnon at this dishwasher, is the control panel a possible culprit?
