Went to get a cold one and was surprised light did not come on. Interior warm on both sides, did some searching and with EVERYTHING dead It was likely the control board. I removed it and fount it submersed in water. This begs the question did it go underwater from failing, or failed because it got wet. On one of the plugs it was obvious a pin had gotten hot. If I'm understanding the diagram correctly, the pin goes to the defroster.

I ordered a new board and installed it but when I plugged it in, there was a very brief draw of current and the fridge is still dead, I do hope it hasn't blown the new board.

I've been an equipment tech for 40 years and know my way around This is the first thing in a very long time that has beaten me so any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
