Hello,

I have an LG dlg2532w that the gas valve will not open.

Initial problem was no heat so first thing I checked was resettable high heat limit switch. it was popped so I reset it. still no heat so I checked ALL other sensors and they all checked as good with multimeter. I changed them all anyway one at a time. Still no heat and gas valve not opening. Igniter glows bright orange. Changed gas valve still does not open so I replaced control board. Still gas valve does not open. Started dryer, igniter glows, unplugged a wire from the flame sensor gas valve immediatly opens and ignites. Replaced flame sensor. Gas valve does not open unless I unplug flame sensor.
As of now I have replaced EVERY component except the igniter and the motor both of which work.

Possible out of box failure on flame sensor??

Any ideas besides dynamite?

TIA
Rick
