My Whirlpool Duet washer (GHW9150WP3) is getting an F 06 error at various points during a wash cycle. With a number of resets and, usually, changing to drain and spin, I can get it to finish. With enough start and stops (often unplugging), I just consider them washed and if all else fails, running diagnostic mode will ultimately spin fast enough to get rid of most of the water.

It will spin. It will drain and water appears to be an unobstructed flow. All wiring/harness connections are secure.

Note: The washer will complete any cycle when empty.

I did notice today that water was pouring into the fabric softener bin at the beginning of the wash cycle. For that, I will be ordering a dispenser switch.

Has anyone ever had a faulty dispenser switch be the cause of an F 06 error? I'm thinking perhaps it is indirectly causing the issue.

TIA

Paul
