Hi!

*The blower motor was the number 1 thing people said in other posts, so it has been replaced already. The dryer runs significantly quieter now and the old one did scrape when it spun.*

The Samsung Dryer DV42H5000EW/A3-0000. It will run for 3 to 5 minutes then shut off and stay off. OR it will run all the way through and not get hot. I only used Timed Dry so no moisture sensors should be in effect unless I am not understanding how they work.

I am not sure what to do about it. Could someone please help me figure out which part to replace? I am considering just doing a full package of the element, thermostat, and thermal cut off fuse just to get it working again.

Thanks for reading an helping!

Today we replaced the heating element. It had a visible break in the coil. I will update if this resolves all issues.

Thanks!

Now it is overheating and throwing the HE error code. Not sure what part to replace next. Going to try to trouble shoot.

Any help would be appreciated.

Does no one reply here? Lol. I have a replacement heating element arriving today as it was overheating in air fluff. Im aware this could be the control board potentially. Im guessing the element was grounded on the shield.

Please help.

Control board has been replaced. It does not heat on Air fluff anymore but we just got an HE error on low heat again. The vent is a longer vent but I checked it and its clear everywhere I can see.

Totally lost.

All internal parts have been replaced. Heater+attached sensors, the black thermistor, the motor, and the control board. Only the fan hasn't been but is spins well and does not grind on anything.

Asked for a replacement board to be sent as it still heats in Air fluff Mode.

Is there ANYTHING else that can cause it to hest in Air fluff other than broken/grounded Element and the co tool board?

How do I test the relay in the board?
