20 year old Jenn Air JCD2389GTB. Have been troubleshooting low temperature problems. Cleaned, defrosted coils completely, replaced adaptive defrost control board and restarted. After 24 hours, evaporator fan runs continuously , gets cold enough to make ice but freezer won't get below 23 and fridge wont get below about 45. HELP! Keep troubleshooting, fix? or give it up and buy a new one?

Sounds kind of like your system is low on Freon. Did the evaporator coil have frost only on one part of it? Just the top of the coils of just one side? If so its because there isn't enough Freon to cover the whole coils with frost.
