I recently purchased the ice maker cover for the Frigidaire FPUI2188LR0,
Part #5304469385 to replace the old cover. Could someone please tell me how to remove the old part without damaging the assembly? Your assistance would be much appreciated.

If you are talking about the square white cover, It just pops straight off. Unless it has an adjustment knob. in which case pull the knob out and then pop the cover off.
