I firt wanna thank everyone because this website helped me when I fixed my dryer. Yesterday I replaced motor coupler and clutch assembly. I put everything together but now the tube bangs to sides.I am thinking that Washer, spin tube thrust Part Number: AP2905330 made by WHIRLPOOL was put upside down wrong. The recessed part should be on tranny side right ? Do you think that this causes banging/clunking on sides. Can springs go bad while I lay the washer on the ground? Thanks

Ok I got it.. Spring should be upside down and the recessed part should face to tranny.
