Problem started when water started dispensing and unit making ice very slow. Changed filter, checked main water valve... good outlet pressure. Checked dual water valve... good outlet pressure. At the beginning of call for water it seems like it will come out normal but very quickly slows to a dribble. It also still makes ice but very slowly. Any suggestions appreciated

There is water pressure and water volume. I suspect you have pressure, but little volume. I'd check the water line for kinks and check the shut off valve. I've seen a few that were plugged up over the years. If its a tap type shutoff it could be debris inside the water line. BTW you not supposed to tap horizontal pipes, only vertical ones.

The water line feed from the house is from a valve in a box in the wall that was part of the original plumbing system. There is very good pressure coming from it. Also, this is problem just began recently... always worked well before.

Check your freezer temps. If they are not at or very close to the setpoint (typically 0F) then this would cause slow ice production.
