Happy New Year All! I believe the tubing for the stove burners are discontinued ? So, my Question is can I use copper Instead of the aluminum they are made from ? I have not used aluminum in the flaring tool I have. Question is LP gas compatible with the copper tubing ? Thank You very much Marty

Thank You for viewing the topic. Had to use a file to remove the ridge around the aluminum tubing, so the brass nut could be slid back, in order to see the type of flare used. The suspicions was, correct. It is a tube stop bead flare. So... my original question still exists. Would it matter? The use of aluminum or copper? The original burner tubers are of aluminum. Aluminum is harder (denes) material over the softer copper material. Thanks again. Marty
