Looking for some advice about replacing the magnetron on my Kitchenaid oven/micro combo. Currently, the microwave doesn't heat anything up. I just got the new part from APP, but can't find a video for my specific model (KEMS308SSS04). Does anyone have ay experience with this model?
After watching some other videos, it seems simple enough, but it sounds like you need to discharge the capacity first. So even though the breaker is off, does the capacitor store electricity which could lead to a major shock? Can someone walk me through how to discharge it? Is there anything else I should know/do while replacing the magnetron?
Thanks all!

The magnetron is the heart of a microwave that actually makes the micro-waves. Replacing it is about equal to the cost of buying a whole new microwave, sometimes even greater. If the magnetron is busted, microwave replacement is a part of your future.
