LG French door refrigerator with small ice maker in door. Machine makes and drops ice into bin. When dispensing the cubes get
clogged in the chute. Can hear augur gear turning but flap does not open to dispense. Have checked for sensor error code, which shows Ety and not
“full” (which indicates abnormal function). Flap moves freely and I don’t see any light around edges when shining light at it. Bin comes in and out
easily. No frost build up around Augur or freezer door. Have unscrewed augur motor screws and jiggled to reset/level the piece - no change in outcome.
Have considered purchasing a new ice bin and possibly chute flap, or do I just call for repair?
