I have a Kitchenaid French door style fridge, KBFS25EWWH9, eight years old.

When I close the left door, the right hand door pops open. This is causing us to leave the door cracked all night. (For some reason it's not open enough to trigger the "open door" alarm.)

One common cause of this problem appears to be a bad "door closer" part. The door closer part on my fridge appears to be in perfect condition.

The repair video suggests also changing the bushing in the door. It's really hard to inspect that part to figure out if it's OK, and I also don't see a replacement that looks right for my fridge on the site. (The part wp76002721 looks different.)

The seal is not in great shape. Could an old degraded seal cause this problem? (Part of the magnet has fallen out at the bottom near the hinge.)

Lastly, the plastic material along the bottom of the door has cracked. This doesn't appear to be a functional problem. The door doesn't wobble at all on the hinge--the bushing is secured by the metal "door stopper" part.
