Whirlpool Washer GST9679PB0 top load.

After the first wash cycle the washer started making a grinding noise when it was pumping out the water. I replaced the water pump, but that was not the issues and it still makes the noise on every cycle but the fill cycle. The agitator top section (spiral) spins freely but the bottom part with the fins does not. I'm not sure if that is standard or not.

This site says it's either the clutch or the motor coupling. Of course, this site also said it was the water pump.

Any informed guesses before I get someone in to look at it?

Thanks.
