My dishwasher Maytag MOD MDB4949SDZ0, just five years old, does not drain the water at the end of the previous cycle.
It should drain all the water from the tub in the beginning of next cycle. We routinely use the Quick Cycle (a 59- minute program).
Disconnected the drain hose, found it was not clogged. Put it in a bucket and ran the Quick Cycle again and it drained the water after program began. Tried to run a cycle but it didn't drain.
Removed pump, the impeller was free to turn by hand. Connected directly to 110 VAC and was spinning well without any signs of binding.
Reinstalled it, ran the same Quick Cycle. At the end of the cycle it didn't drain. There was a humming sound and touched my had on the drain pump. It seemed it was coming from the pump motor (not sure) but didn't drain any water.

Repeated the cycle and took note of all moments when the main pump motor was running:
On: between minute 59 and 56
Off: between minute 56 to 51
On: between minute 51 and 25 (detergent door opens at minute 51)
Off: between minute 25 and 24
On: between 24 and 08 minute
Heard a click at 08 minutes (while pump running)
Heard a click at 05 minutes (while pump running)
Stop at minute 02
From minute 02 until 00 no action
Display turns off.

Tried the Rinse Cycle (7 minutes)
Pressed Start button
The LED display was flashing between '0:00' and '-:--"
The cycle could not be completed.

The tub and filter are routinely cleaned. There were no leaks and floor under the machine was dry, with no signs of previous leaks.

What could be the issue?
Many thanks for your help!
