I'm attempting to change the splutch cam kit on my Whirlpool top load model WTW4880AW1. I have done this before on this unit so I am familiar with the process. The problem is I am unable to remove the nut holding everything in place. When trying to take it off, I am holding the pulley, yet everything rotates. It loosened slightly, but now it won't budge. I've tried WD40 and tapping with a hammer to see if that helps. Anyone have any insight? Or could this be another problem I am unaware of? Also apologies if I have left out details that might be pertinent.
