I have a Maytag LAW2400AAE washer that I had to replace the retaining clip that holds the agitator in.( I also replaced the washer seals and the drum bearing) When I put it back together and started a load of cloths it went from the fill cycle straight to a spin cycle but was not draining the water. I drained the tub propped the washer up and turned the belt in both directions and the drum turned both directions. I gave the belt a quick jerk in one direction and something let loose and the washer worked normal for one complete cycle. I started an new loan and again it went from the fill cycle to the spin cycle without draining the water. My question is is this the brake sticking? or do I have transmission problems? Thank you for any assistance you can give me
