I have a Whirlpool refrigerator that makes a humming noise. This started when I wanted to replace the water filter. On putting in the new filter, it makes a humming noise, and then water stops coming out of the filter outlet. I read forums and they said it might be a faulty filter so I replaced it with another new one but the problem remains the same. The last new filter I ordered from the whirlpool site just to make sure that I am getting original onde from manufacture but again the problem remains the same. When I put the old one back, it still creates the humming noise but after 2-3 glasses. I am not sure what part needs to be changed as it seems like it is not the filter itself but something else is causing it. Any adice is appreciated.
