The blower belt on my whirlpool cabrio WED7300XW0 came off. I bought a new one and when I went to put it on, it was too big. I tripled checked and it is the correct belt for the dryer. I then took the old belt and tried to put that one back on and it too seems to be too loose on the pulleys. I know how to put them on as I installed this belt on thus dryer a couple years ago so I know I have the right belts. How can it now be too big. Nothing has moved inside. The parts are all bolted down. Can anyone tell me what might have happened because now I don't know what to do. Thanks

do you have the belt around the tensioner properly? If so, has the tensioner spring broken?
