Hello everyone,

We have a Whirlpool Cabrio Platinum, about 5 years old. It is making a loud grinding noise at the start of the cycle, but not during spinning. Recently, the clothes are very wet and it doesn't seem to spin well.

Based on a YouTube video, I thought it may be the water pump and changed it, but with the same result.

Any help in tracking this issue down, or even advice on a reliable repair person in Wilmington, Delaware would be appreciated.
