I'v read some folks said that you only need around 2 psi for a typical fridge/freezer with the compressor runnning. Is that correct? Some also say it should be around 15 psi. What's the psi when the compressor is running and what is the psi when the compressor is not running? Can anyone confirm? Thanks!

If you are running R134A, after 30 minutes the pressure on the low side line should be around 2 psi. If its R12 it should be 4 or 5. The pressure when its not running doesn't matter.
