Hi all,

Im working on a Samsung model rs265tdrs xaa side by side refrigerator/freezer and the water supply hose to the water dispenser is broken just below the hinge on the freezer door. There might just be enough hose sticking out to attach a John guess fitting but I prefer to replace the hose inside the freezer door - is there a repair procedure for this. I fear this may be a foam filled door where the recommended fix is to replace the door (totally absurd IMHO). Please tell me there is a way to remove the water dispenser and feed the hose through the door.

Thanks,
donow

Here is a response from another resource on this issue

CHAT we do not show or have anything to fix the problem the whole door has to be replaced

ME bummer that is what I thought - is there a part number for the door is it available?

CHAT part #DA91-03031P
may have to reach out to samsung
shows The manufacturer no longer sells the part
We can no longer get it from any of our suppliers
There is no substitute for the part available to us
We don't know of any other source for the part
Unfortunately, even if you contact us we won't be able to help
Contact local parts dealers, one of them might still have it in stock
Enter your part number in a search engine, a smaller company might have it
Try eBay. Search by using the part number
Try a used appliance store, sometimes they have the same model
