When using the Automatic Fabric Master Cycle on the timer, dryer used to run without indexing the timer knob, which allowed heat to dry clothes before allowing the timer to advance.
Using this cycle the timer immediately starts advancing while clothes are soaking wet.
This results in timer shutting off with clothes still wet. Have to reset the timer knob several times to get a single load to dry. Have replaced heating element several years ago and the motor recently so I have been inside the dryer several times.

I do not see any moisture sensor metal conductors that are on many other dryers.

Suspect some component like a thermistor or thermostat but have no idea which component might be causing the Automatic cycle to immediately run the timer motor.

Would appreciate anyone knowing what component is responsible for detecting the dryness of the clothes.
