My dishwasher has an intermittent leak into the bottom tray (left side only) which triggers the I30 error (drain pump runs due to float switch triggering). I've pulled it 3 times in the last 2 months, dried out the pan and run the dishwasher half dozen times with no leaking.
1) I noticed that the "overflow" hose of the side fill (water) tank feeds into the back left side. The device seems very straight forward. Are there any valves/flappers inside that could be malfunctioning or gunked up? I've run dishwasher "cleaner" (Magic) several times but it sill happens. If not, what else might cause water to go out this overflow tube to the catch tray?
A) We been using Cascade Platinum for years so nothing has changed (i.e. more suds).
B) There doesn't seem to be any indication that the tub is actually "overfilling" (i.e. that the fill valve may be malfunctioning such as not cutting off when it should) although I'm not sure what to look for to determine if the value is breaking.
2) None of the gaskets, hoses, etc seem to indicate leaking/cracking.

I don't want just start throwing parts at the issue. Thank you for your help. Curtis
