Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 6/18/2020(UTC) Posts: 0		My GE GSS25WSTASS refrigerator sometimes makes ghostly whistling noises on the freezer side. When this happens, the evaporator fan sounds like someone is revving the gas pedal in a car every few seconds. The sound is coming from the direction of the ice maker. Other details: The freezer and refrigerator appear to be holding temperature, and the fridge does not run constantly. For example, this morning the fridge was not running when I entered the kitchen. Is my evaporator fan motor starting to fail, or could there be another problem?
