I was told by the gas company that checked my range because I smelled gas (on the night before I had the entire family over for Christmas Eve), that 2 of the burners and the oven burner (?) were leaking gas. He said the burners were not a huge deal, they were leaking minuscule amounts of gas, but the oven leak, since it leaked into a closed cavity and could potentially explode if it leaked long enough and I opened the oven door, I had to buy a new oven.

I'm wondering if it's worthwhile to try and repair the range? I liked it, it had a warming drawer, the convection oven usually blew a fuse, somehow, but when it worked I liked it. Is it scrap?

Thanks for your opinions, I've called a few local repair shops and searched for replacement parts. The local repair people haven't returned my calls, and the parts look Greek to me! I wouldn't have the foggiest idea of what needs to be replaced.
