I have an electric Maytag MED3500FW1 dryer that starts and runs but does not heat. There are no diagnostic codes displayed. I purchased a cheap multi-meter from Harbor Freight and verified that at the breaker, plug, and terminals on the back are receiving ~120 Volts on each side. I removed the back panel to the dryer and with the multi-meter on the lowest Ohm setting (200), the heating element shows 10 Ohms of resistance, suggesting it's fine. The high limit thermostat reads 0.8 Ohms and the thermal cut-off reads 0.8 Ohms. How many Ohms should these 2 parts be reading? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
