Hello from the UK!

I have an old Amana SSD522TBW fridge freezer, I guess its probably an old model as it was in the house I bought and that was 10 years ago!

Still works like a dream never had an issue with it at all, its a proper work horse!

Perfect Ice / crushed ice and cold water maybe filtered, thats the puzzle!)

Strange thing though, it crossed my mind that I have never change a water filter on it! , We have another unit (Different model) in the kitchen and the Amana SSD522TBW is in our garage.

The unit in the kitchen tells me when the filter needs changing and its very easy to swop it out (although I never do it until about 6 months after it tells me too. I think they are always far to keen ti get you to buy a new filter!

Thing is I have searched all over the Internet and can not see where the filter its on the Amana SSD522TBW

Most of the info online for Amana products that look like ours have a small bottle shaped screw up filler in the top of the fridge area in the right hand door, or in the bottom left behind the kick plate (Near the floor)

I have checked there and there is 100% no filter or filter housing there?

I can only assume that the Amana SSD522TBW does not have a filter?? But that seems very strange.

Does any know of this or can advise me further?
