Hey Folks I've got a 6 year old Bosch SHX65T55UC/02 thats ran great until about two weeks ago it threw an E-15 error. Sure enough there was water under in the basin and that had activated the shutoff. This has lead me on a not so merry chase to find the problem. Which I've not found. HEres everything I've done Made sure the unit was level Replaced the door lower seal Verified the water inlet valve was working fine (whenever I open the door the valve closes immediately) Replaced the controller board Verified the drainage path is clear of obstructions upto the disposal What happens when I run a cycle is 1. D/W drain pump fires three times (normal). 2. Water inlet valve opens for a short period (normal) 3. Dishwasher runs for a brief amount (normal) 4. Dishwasher drains without problems (normal) 5. Water inlet valve opens for a longer period of time (normal) 6. Here is where things go wrong it's either the case that A) the inlet valve never closes and the dishwasher keeps filling and filling until it overflows tripping the e-15 or B) the dishwasher stops filling and runs for a little bit...then stops and starts filling again and overflows...again tripping the e-15. I have no idea how this washer even knows when to stop filling water? I don't see a float anywhere but the overflow protection in the bottom and the only sensor I see is the turbidity sensor. Does anyone know? How this machine knows when the water level is right? Edited by user Sunday, May 17, 2020 8:57:02 AM(UTC)
