We have a Kenmore Elite front-load washer model # 79641382410. I think it was built by LG. One of the baffles is broken and I need to replace it. I purchased a replacement part but I am concerned how to fix it. I have seen two different videos; one says to bang it towards the rear of the drum and it should come out, then put the new one in and slide it forcefully towards the front of the drum. The other video shows how to completely dismantle the washer, take the drum out, then replace the baffle. I am really hope it is as simple as the first video but I don't want to ruin my washer if I do something wrong. Please help tell me how to do it right without breaking my washer further.
