According to the repair person, the part that needs to be replaced is some tank that originally had insulation on it. The insulation has deteriorated, and that part is no longer available. This tank holds the hot water, (I guess!) until the next cycle for the dishwasher. Since the water temp then drops, (due to the failure of the insulation) this then causes the washer to stop mid cycle, and causes the keypad lights to flash.
The technicians’ advice was to run the dishwasher on a “china” setting which requires a lower water temp.
Anyone have an idea of what this piece is called, or a kitchen aid part number? If I know the name, I’m fine trying to find the part number!
Thanks to all in advance!
